Montreal Convention – Air Travel International Law
This page describes the workings of the Montreal Convention which is the main international law for air travel. The Montreal convention deals with death or injury to passengers, delay and baggage (loss damage or delay). Remember if you suffer an injury whist travelling by air internationally the Montreal convention only allows you 2 years to start an accident claim.
The Carriage By Air Acts
The Carriage By Air Acts are the UK laws which implemented the Montreal Convention for international air travel.
The Warsaw Convention
The Warsaw Convention was earlier international law relating to air travel which has now been largely superseded by the Montreal Convention.
